    4. 1 Corinthians 6:18
  3. What does this distinction mean?
    1. That smaller sins aren’t harmful? – Romans 3:23
    2. That bigger sins condemn us further? – Romans 6:23
    3. That forgiveness isn’t the same for all sins? – 1 John 1:7
  4. What does this distinction mean?
    1. Some sins affect those around us – Murder, theft, lying, greed
    2. Some sins affect our bodies – Homosexuality, gluttony
    3. Some sins only affect our relationship with God – Disbelief, judgement of others
    4. But are the consequences any different?
  5. What about us?
    1. Sometimes we doubt God’s forgiveness of us, what then?
    2. 1 Tim. 1:15-16
    3. 1 John 3:19-24
    4. We’re forgetting about who is the one forgiving us
  6. The consequence is the same and so is the cure
    1. 1 John 1:7-9
    2. 1 Peter 1:17-19
    3. John 3:16-21
  7. When we doubt…
    1. We doubt our God who is all-powerful – Matthew 19:25-26
    2. We doubt our savior who is all-sufficient for us – Hebrews 7:25
    3. We doubt the word that he gave to us
